Do you like spending a lot money on movies and not getting that many? Do you get the most out of the devices that can handle entertainment? Do you take your media everywhere you go? Let’s find out what you can to maximize your spending and what you get for your money. I have a couple of tips for you that can help you maximize your entertainment experience.

In this section, I will discuss the best places to purchase your entertainment. Later on I will explain how to get your entertainment for free. I’ll start with music, and where to get it. Itunes is the place that I recommend to buy your music from. If you’re like me, Apple has sucked out a lot of money from me because their devices are so easy to use. Yes, they do want you to use their formats and their other products, but they just work so well. If you purchase music on itunes these days and you own an iPhone, Ipod touch, or iPad, the songs you purchase in Itunes on the computer, will automatically download to all those devices. It’s so easy and worth it, that you will find yourself paying for music willingly.

If you want to take advantage of some good streaming services, you can get apps like Netflix and HBO GO. This will fulfill your TV and movie needs while you don’t have access to your home theater. Netflix is one of the best in terms of quality but not in selection. Netflix has been around a long time so they have a lot of the kinks worked out to give you a smooth experience. HBO Go is good as well if you already subscribe to HBO. HBO Go is available to everyone who subscribes and a lot of people don’t even know they have it. You have access to every episode of every series they have and a great selection of fairly new movies. When you get a chance download this to see what I am talking about.

Let’s move on and discuss getting entertainment for free. To do this, there is more work involved than you would think. If it is something like music it can be worth it. To do this, you need to get Peer to Peer software. Something like BitComet or Emule, they are free downloads. You install the software and run a search for whatever it is that you might want, and see if someone has it for download and you just sort of trade with other people online. They own it and they are giving it to you basically.

But this gets tiresome and sometimes you have to search too hard to find something. For things like movies, you get the file on your computer then you have to figure out where you can watch it comfortably and transfer the file to make it work with whatever you might need to watch it on. More times than not, I end up buying what I want, to know I have the best quality entertainment and the easiest to use and save, physical media.
