How Can I Find the Right Dance Teacher?
Finding the right dance teacher is important once you’ve decided to take dance lessons. There are certain qualities you should keep in mind when you begin your search. First should be how long the teaching has been teaching and how long he/she has been dancing. If available (which it should be), find out what dancing certifications he or she has. But while credentials are important, don’t be so quick to overlook retired professional dancers. Often these dancers become exceptional dance teachers even with no certifications.
